Yesterday was St Jordi (George)'s day (day of the Books, too, girls give a book and boys give a rose). So I have a vase with 13 beautiful roses, and he has a book about illustration.

Hoy me he levantado muy pronto, con la tormenta. Mientras trabajaba, ha ido saliendo el sol y me ha hecho tanta ilusión que he tenido que ponerme a hacer fotos. El Tibidabo aún estaba cubierto. I was awake very early this morning, with the storm. While I was working the sun came out, and I've felt so smitten and felt the urgence of taking some pictures. The Tibidabo was still covered in clouds.



Nuestros vecinos de la derecha inauguraron la primavera con unas flores blancas. Our neighbours on the right opened spring season with white flowers.


Los italianos recién llegados de la izquierda me han sorprendido esta mañana con un bonito azahar. The new italian couple on the left surprised me this morning with some kind of a nice lemon blossom.





Nuestra planta carnívora no tiene muy buen aspecto, pobrecita. Our carnivorous plant is not really good-looking, poor thing.



Yo intento cultivar a partir de semillas. No tengo muy claras mis habilidades como jardinera, así que lo que sí que cultivo es la fe. Les ruego cada día que saquen un tallito. I'm trying to grow from seeds. I'm not so confident of my habilities as a gardener, so I grow my faith. I pray them every day to show a stem.

Al fin ha hecho un poco de sol y hemos podido fotografiar los bolsos... ahora ya sólo queda subirlos a Etsy! Se aceptan críticas constructivas... :)

Esta tarde Ari ha aprendido a usar la máquina de coser, y no he visto a nadie en el mundo que cosa TAN recto su primera vez. ¡Creo que se le da mejor que a mi!. Luego, Cloe se ha metido en uno de los cajones que separan nuestras mesas, ronroneando mientras trabajamos.

This afternoon Ari has learned to use the sewing machine, and I have not seen anyone sewing SO straight the first time. I think he does better than me! Afterwards, Cloe has slipped into one of the drawers separating our tables, purrrrrrring while we work.

Hemos pasado la tarde de domingo pintando a mano los detalles en rosa de los nuevos bolsos. Mañana iremos a comprar un forro bonito para cosérselo a cada uno. Tengo unas ganas de verlos acabados...!
We've just spent sunday afternoon handpainting the pink details of the new tote bags. Tomorrow we'll go fabric shopping for a nice lining. I am so anxious to see them finished...!

Ari me regaló esta camiseta por mi cumpleaños, el año pasado, el primero que pasamos juntos. Para navidades yo le había regalado un cubo de Rubik y él lo convirtió en camiseta con mi nombre en ella. ¿Lo veis? El blanco es la "d", el azul la "e" y el amarillo la "b". Creo que es el regalo hecho a mano con más amor del mundo entero.
Ari made me this t-shirt as a birthday present, last year, the first we spent together. For Christmas I gave him a Rubik cube, and he transformed it into a tee with my name on it. Can you see it? The white side is a "d", the blue one the "e" and the yellow is the "b". I think it's the handmade present made with more love in the whole world.

Nuestras nuevas camisetas serigrafiadas a mano con dos diseños diferentes, ambos a base de geometría y tramas combinadas. De momento las hemos repartido entre algunos de nuestros amigos, pero en breve las subiremos a la tienda de Etsy, a ver qué pasa... :)
These are our new t-shirts, screenprinted by hand, they come in two different designs, both geometrical and patterned inside. By now, we've distributed some amongst our friends, but we'll upload them to the Etsy shop as soon as possible, just to see what happens... :)
